Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 15, and the Taste of Key Biscayne culinary scene is abuzz with special offers and menus to celebrate all Dads on the Island and beyond.
From a special wine pairing dinner, to special wine gifts, to a special candlelight dinner series, our staff did some research and came up with some delectable options to make his day special.
Happy Father’s Day!
Narbona
The popular spot, with Uruguayan roots, is making sure Dads on the Island feel special on their day by introducing a Father’s Day Gift Box and parrillada promotion sure to satisfy any Dad’s taste.
The Narbona Gift Box is a beautifully packaged bottle of their signature Luz de Luna Tannat red wine, for only $48. For the protein-seeking and hungry Dads, Narbona chefs will be serving a grill platter (feeds two generously or four to share) loaded with grilled chicken, chorizo, blood sausage, skirt steak and "tira de asado,” with two sides: French fries and grilled vegetables. The Parrillada for Dad special is only $69.

Kebo Spanish restaurant
Kebo, the award winning Spanish restaurant nestled in the Key Colony Plaza, continues to refine their monthly $99 per person, five-course wine-pairing events. Diners are exposed to delicious and specially crafted dishes designed to pair perfectly with select wines. If you want to truly celebrate Dad, give him a seat at the next Kebo wine event when they will feature wines from C.V.N.E. (CompañÃa VinÃcola del Norte de España), a family winery founded in 1879 in the Rioja region of Spain.
C.V.N.E’s well-known enologist Gloria Zapatero will be on hand to offer details on the chosen wines being paired during the evening, like a special Norwegian smoked salmon mousse with black caviar, paired with C.V.N.E. dry Monopole Classic D.O. Rioja, or a Chilean Sea Bass on a bed of roasted zucchini with Florida orange sauce, paired with a C.V.N.E Contino white, produced from Viura and Garnacha Blanca grapes. For dessert, enjoy a homemade brownie with mint ice cream, paired with Contino Gran Reserva tempranillo D.O. Rioja.

If you are looking for a traditional Father’s Day Sunday option, Kebo’s owner José Castellanos says paellas are a very popular dish, both to enjoy at the restaurant or for pickup for an at-home celebration. Kebo’s offers several paella options, like the traditional seafood paella with shrimp, prawns, clams and mussels. Isabelle’s Coconut Grove
If you want to allow Dad to immerse himself in a night of elegant ambiance and elevated dining, try a short drive to Isabelle’s Coconut Grove, inside The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami.
The special restaurant is launching X Lennox & Grace Candlelight Dinner Series with the glow of Lennox & Grace Candles setting the stage as a new menu makes its debut.
If lobster is Dad's favorite, he will love the new Lobster Bisque; lobster, tobiko caviar, fennel fronds, toasted brioche and orange olive oil, or Isabelle’s unique Lobster Carpaccio. The entrees available include seafood delicacies like Bronzino, seared Bass or Snapper Piccata, and a mouthwatering selection of fire-grilled Steaks and chops.
While the new menu can be enjoyed daily, their special Candlelight Dinners series is being offered Thursday, June 19 until to Sunday, June 22, Thursday, July 17 until to Sunday, July 20, Thursday, August 21 through Sunday, August 24, and finally from Thursday, September 18 until Sunday, September 21.

Vinya Wine and Market
What's better than a Sunday Funday on Wine Island, especially on Dad’s Sunday? For this special day, Vinya’s sommelier Allegra Angelo has come up with a Boozy Snow Cone Social event, partnering with Rhum Clément and Maverick Beverage for an unconventional (and surely memorable) tasty pre-dinner Father's Day event. Dad will not be able to resist the lip-smacking snow cones, featuring the exotic liquors of Clément. All "Dads" will receive one complimentary Bananas Foster old-fashioned.
Want the kids to join the fun? Vinya has them covered with non-alcoholic peach, strawberry and mango snow cones.
The cost is $35 per ticket, which includes unlimited boozy snow cones, complimentary Bananas Foster old-fashioneds for Dad, complimentary Italian style veggie wraps, chicken sandwiches and short rib empanadas. Also there will be an added 10% off all Clément products in-store with tax and gratuity.

For a special Father’s Day with an Argentinian flavor, Novecento, which recently relocated to the Square Shopping Center, has a special menu to satisfy and honor every Dad.
The Father’s Day menu starts with a traditional flank steak Empanada de Matambre with onions and hard-boiled eggs and a special Tira de Asado entrée; grilled short ribs served with rustic potatoes and salsa criolla. Dad’s day can get sweeter with a special Balcarce dessert consisting of a layered classic sponge cake of merengue, dulce de leche and peaches.

Peruvian cuisine seems like a fitting option for Father’s Day, with its rich tradition and historical fusion of cultures. Mixing original Spanish and Moorish roots with European and Asian cuisine, the Island’s Peruvian spot is Ceviche Bar in the Galleria Shopping Center.
On Father’s Day, in addition to enjoying their special ceviches, like the Ceviche Lobster and Ceviche Chipotle or Risottos and chaufas, all Fathers can enjoy a complimentary beer on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
