All You Need to Know about Fortnite’s New MK Alpha Update

Description: Fortnite knows how to keep their fans engaged with new updates every season. The new MK Alpha update has caught the attention of seasoned fans, and here’s all you need to know about it.

The MK Alpha Replaces One of the Worst Assault Rifles in the Game in the Most Recent Fortnite Update 3.93.

Despite the addition of a new weapon in-game, recently, fans saw the release of a fresh Fortnite update for the game's console versions. However, no official patch notes were provided accompanying the update. Less than a week has passed since Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 debuted. While we've all been preoccupied attempting to complete the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass, Epic Games has already issued another update to the game. With updates this tiny, however, Epic Games normally doesn't post comprehensive patch notes for the smaller stability upgrades. The game is still labeled as Fortnite version 25.00 on the main menu. Find more information on the GG Bet website.

However, one significant change in this stability update may have caught certain players' attention. Now a scoped weapon is available in the game that replaces the Red-Eye Assault weapon that was previously there. The MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, discovered in the game's files during the Chapter 4 Season 3 update, has now been included. It is unknown if this weapon will outperform the Red-Eye. That weapon always seemed pointless because it was a mediocre compromise between the superior range and sight of the Cobra DMR and the superior DPS and fire rate of the Havoc Assault Rifle. Hopefully, the MK-Alpha will provide me with a strong reason to choose it over these superior firearms.

With the addition of the new jungle habitat, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has gotten off to a promising start. However, a major update for a season usually happens a few weeks later. If we had to predict, Fortnite 25.10 would probably debut on Tuesday, June 20, or Tuesday, June 27.

Update 3.93 Patch Notes for Fortnite

Fortnite update 3.93 from Epic Games doesn't have a full set of patch notes because it is a tiny update. To address stability issues, a maintenance patch was published for Android, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, according to a Tweet from the @FortniteStatus Twitter account.

The MK-Alpha is a fully automatic assault rifle with an attached red dot sight that functions similarly to the MK-Seven Assault Rifle offered during Fortnite Chapter 3 Seasons 1 and 2. The MK-Alpha also puts the player in first-person when aiming with the weapon. The gun version in-game only has Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities right now, despite rarities from Common to Mythic being discovered in the files of last week's update. As a result, the Mythic version of this weapon must be arriving later in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 3.

What Distinguishes the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle from the Red-Eye Assault Rifle?

Even though both guns have names and a similar overall appearance, their numbers distinguish them from one another. The Red-Eye AR and the MK-Alpha AR can be employed in close-quarters combat. Precision is lacking in the MK-Alpha AR, but it makes up for that with the volume of ammunition it can hold in its magazine. In contrast, the Red-Eye AR has a more accurate aim but is slower to shoot, has a smaller magazine, and requires more time to reload. The players' preferences and needs on the battlefield will ultimately determine whether they prefer the new weapon more or miss the old one more.

Bottom Line

Fortnite delivers tons of fresh material for its users with each new season. It's one of the reasons why gamers don't get tired of playing the same game after a while since Epic Games has been able to keep their fanbase engaged by releasing new missions, skins, weapons, cosmetics, and other content with each new season.
